      Hi David,

      :sign0016:

      Welcome to Gardeners Corner :)

Just ask anything you want to, there'll always be someone around to help. Post some photos as well as this can help in deciding what to put where etc.

PS.... Nice place to live, I used to live in Armley and miss Leeds.

Welcome David. :) You may like to start a thread in the Garden Projects forum where we can help you get under way with ideas. As Anthony has said photo's are a big help to us, we will be able to see what you're dealing with.

Welcome to the forum! I do a heck of a lot of container growing, which is most times consdered small area growing. Lots of fun figuring out just how much one can jam into a frugal space.

Enjoy this group. And whenever you have time, try to add more details to your profile. This way people don't have to go back to your original post to figure out how to help. :)

You'll be amazed at the specific zone knowledge folks here can share :)

Welcome. 11mx9m is plenty big enough especially when you start using the walls, hanging baskets, tiered growing etc.

                Thank you all.

A section as to be use for parking a second car but i didnt just want a block of concrete like the last owner, i think hanging baskets and raised planter is the way foreword for me as i also was a section of grass.

i will get some photos when the rain stops, i have just dropped in the last of the top soil. and put a boarder in for a graveled section. not a lot left for plants..

Have you thought about using these plastic grids that are a sort of honeycombed shape where you can lay them, plant grass seed through them, and park on them when needed.

Havent used them myself but the flats next to me have them, seem to work well and i guess they use a flymo to cut the grass.
