Hello My Friends

Hi everyone, as we head towards the festive period I have finally got round to popping back on here, the best and friendliest community out there. Those that remember me will know I have had very active spells on here but I must apologise for my absence for much of this year, I would never turn my back on you lot however, a few years ago when things weren't so rosy on the work front I was offered help and advice from here, you guys know who you are and I'll never forget it. Roll forward nearly 5 years (wow time flies!) and I have been happily self employed for half a decade.

So what has my gardening year been like, well self employment brings with it a hectic work life and not much time for anything else, can't complain though as its work I enjoy and it is gardening and selling plants

I've kept my garden tidy and ticking over, managing a lot of it for wildlife

I entered our local In Bloom Competition again and this time I finally brought home the 1st place prize for best Hanging Baskets and Planters (this year's theme was remembrance and red, white & blue) and I also secured 3rd place for best Wildlife garden

Aside from that after the ridculously hot and dry summer and autumn work has been good and I am currently busy selling lots of Christmas planters etc

We work from home, so 99% are sold from home, I occasionally post out specials if they can be sent safely by post Had some Musa thai black this year that I grew from seed, they were posted out ok
