How about you?

 

We are up near Kettering,though I originally come from Northampton It's self.The Queens Park area We have been through Roade a few times but not recently

 

Lovely to meet you.

After spending the first 2 years in our house re-claiming the rather large garden from the stingers, we are now in the process of turning it into our own little paradise, we still have lots to do, the soil is horribly hard to dig as it is clay, but we have are trying to grow some vegetables for the first time ever this year!

You have the Northamptonshire clay like us,in our last house we found blue clay as we dug down as well as the yellow sort.Over here it is murder as well.We are having to dig it out and replace it with proper topsoil and compost and leaf mould that we have brought back from our allotments.Spuds will help break up the soil and bonfire ash will also open up the soil...
