I'm not a gardner, more a keen cook keen to grow my own herbs, maybe some veg and then, who knows.

I will be a complete leech, picking brains and giving nothing in return. If, however, I do pick up some useful knowledge, :yho: I'll be more than happy to share.

Hi Keith, I am a fanatical herb grower and use them in cooking and also grow on window but the ones that i buy from the Supermarket in these little tubs die off too quick.
I really like Lovage in a potato soup. Which ones do you grow ?
I planted several today, Sage is a worry though as I put it in the earth and not in compost so I hope it will take.
