    Afternoon,

We moved to this house just under two years ago and I am slowly getting to grips with the gardens. We have a relatively large (compared to what I was used to!) front and back garden, with an awful lot of planting. The previous owner was a landscape architect, and the garden was her laboratory. It had all gone a bit wild when we moved in. After focussing mainly on the house (and doing the minimum of maintenance needed last year) I am now at the stage of learning as much as I can, while clearing, pruning and landscaping.

It appears I quite like gardening, but know very little so apologise in advance for the many, many questions I will be asking!

I'll put some pictures up tomorrow! I've been busy identifying mystery plants today, including this tulbaghia violacea which I am thrilled to have a name for!

@Gail_68 I am good for mowing the metal labels with the lawn tractor. They are not salvageable...

Barb I throw them made as I have OCD and it covers many issues with me, it's like living with mental torture and leaving tags on the plants looks untidy in my eyes

Here is a terrible aerial shot of the main bit of the back garden. I'll take some proper photos later once I've dug the big camera out.
