    Hi everyone

    Wow!!! So much information and topics being discussed here, it's fab!!!

    I am a total novice to gardening, but am so looking forward to hopefully start transforming a section of my back garden this year.

    I live in the north of Scotland and my garden is North facing and currently all laid in grass. I hope to make a couple of new borders and I would love to leave my grass to go 'wild'. My aim is to make the space I have as inviting to birds, bees and butterflies as possible.

    Anyway thanks for having me and I look forward to asking lots of questions and getting lots of invaluable advice here.
