    Hi Geranium welcome to GC. May I give you a quiet word of advice. You are humorously saying you are from the greenhouse but I should warn that much advice is given based on peoples geographical location. The discussion will be different if you are from the north of Scotland or from, say, Cornwall. So giving a geographical area is advisable otherwise any advice given will be based on your summer temperature of 30C and no frosts at all in winter. :D

    i too am a new member and find the posts very interesting and informative,many times i find the answers to questions i would have asked,also an important point,nobody gives rubbish answers and treats you as stupid
