I joined just a few days ago, so am introducing myself. I suppose I've been gardening after a fashion for more than forty years, but only seriously in the past five since moving to Newark-on-Trent. My main interests are hostas, fuchsias (which I've been growing for many years but more extensively in the past three since getting a new greenhouse), and very recently aquilegias. I also sell gardening books and have a garden-related web site, but in view of the no-adverts rule I'll keep pretty quiet about this. [IMG]

    Hi,
I've just joined too and am looking forward to learning from others - and perhaps contributing some ideas myself. I, too, love the hosta family. - Unfortunately so do the slugs and snails so my aim in the coming year is to reduce significantly the impact of the little blighters.
