Hello

Hello - I am so pleased I found this UK forum. I am a gardener turned decorative painting teacher. I don't do much hands-on gardening now although I have just dried my hydrangeas & roses. I always wanted to paint flowers and never knew how until I tried decorative painting. I have been teaching for 6 years and love giving talks & demos too. Last year I demoed at Gardening Scotland at Ingliston, near Edinburgh and I was so priviledged to appear as a guest on BBC1's The Beechgrove Garden. I enjoy using water based paints in the garden as modern product enables painting on terracotta, metal & glass without using primers & sealers. I am looking forward to reading the messages here - thanks for letting me join you, Gill
