Hi there, I am new here, (where are the toilets?). I'm not new to gardening, especially where vegetables and edible plants are concerned. But I am a newbie when it comes to flowers and shrubs.

Hope to pick up some useful tips!

    Cheers for now.

Very briefly it's planting taking into account the phases of the moon.
Simple planting planting rule says to plant crops that produce above the ground
during the increasing light of the moon (from new moon to full moon) and to plant
crops that produce below the ground during the decreasing light of the moon
(from full moon to new moon).

Hi crivens and welcome to GC! Straight ahead! :D

There's a lot of knowledge here and hopefully you will contribute something on the edible side of things in place of me! [IMG]

    Enjoy!

Hi Crivens and welcome. Heard about moon planting but never tried it myself. I seem to remember something about it a while back on Gardeners Question Time about planting potatoes just after the full moon.
