    I'm new here too! I'm Heather and live in Carlisle, although we only moved here a few years ago from Devon, it's been quite an adjustment in terms of gardening and climate! I'm a keen gardener (enthusiastic amateur!) and hoping to grow more salad, veggies and maybe even some fruit this year.

    I've been quite ill for the last 18 months so my poor garden has been neglected, but as I'm starting to get better I'm hoping that I can get out into the garden a bit more.

    I'll have loads of questions for you all so please bear with me! Looking forward to getting to know you all :)

    Hi Heather, welcome to Gardeners Corner. You'll find everyone here are very friendly and helpful. I'm sorry to hear you've been ill but glad to hear you're getting better. Gardening really is therapeutic so long as you take it easy and don't over -exert yourself. Gardening is long term and so relax and enjoy. Good luck !
