    hi everyone,
    just joined, i'm a single mum of 1 and a doggie, i have a small patio which i want to turn into my little heaven!! lol
    i would love to learn about plants and one day when i have ,y own little garden, grow all my own veg and herbs etc.
    so if i post some really 'stupid' questions please bear in mind that NO ONE in my family are 'green fingered''., so i cant really ask anyone else.

    Hello and welcome, I'm also a beginner in the garden department, always asking questions and always, always get nice replies from the members :) I don't think anyone will think your questions are 'stupid' least of all me, as I'm probably asking them at the moment, heehee.

    Hello Sara, Welcome. Reflecting back to 20 years ago, I learned about gardening by gathering tons of books and read then visited gardens. So if your a true beginner, besides this form that is my suggestion.
    The other is know your soil, replace most of it if its bad with compost and good top soil first before planting. Looking forward to your visits here.
