    Hello,

We were bought a climbing rose (wedding day) as a wedding present 3 weeks ago. We didn't have time to do anything with it before we went away and didn't anticipate the hot weather that the UK experienced while we were away. We left it on our patio which is South facing.

As a result we came home and the rose is looking decidedly sad. The leaves are all dry, and the soil was parched and had shrunk in the pot. It doesn't look hopeful.

We've moved it to the shade and have been watering it. Is there hope?

Can anyone suggest anything we can do to try and save it?

    Thanks

    Emma

Hi Feline well as far as I know Wedding Day is a Rambling Rose, and it is one of the tallest and vigorous Ramblers
(Reaching 25ft in height) So please make sure that the couple who it is for have sufficient room to plant it in their garden, loosen as much of the soil as you can, without disturbing the Roots, then fill up with some fresh Compost and water well only in the evening and early morning,do this for the first three days and please let me know how the Rose is if that is at all possible,Hope this helps:)
