    Hi again mattd.

I just answered your other query and I have the same answer here .... soapy water.

Just put a squirt of washing up liquid in a a squirty bottle, top up with water and spray the little b*ggers .... dead instantly .... and very safe for kitchen counters.

Also good for green/whitefly and pet friendly. :)

hi i bought this divice from focus diy and you plug it in and it kills all bugs including ants

it has a funny noise coming out of it that only they can hear its harmless to cats and dogs but not rats if you have any

think it cost £15 but its good and i hav'nt had a ant problem for ages :thumb:

I had the same problem in my greenhouse and used BORAX.
You can get it from boots.
Mix 1 part Borax and 1 part sugar. The sugar masks the borax and the worker ants take it off to the queen.
She eats it and this kills her.
Then you can use normal ant powder to kill the workers. If you use normal ant powder without the borax, this won't kill the queen.
    Good luck.
