Help! disgusting eggs on my young apple tree. what to do?

    Please see the picture. Are there aphid eggs? What can I do to get rid of them?

    I believe that aphids give birth to live young, but your picture does look like an infestation of greenfly. This is just one of the types of aphid sent to try us. Get the soapy water out, or bug spray if you are that way inclined.

      Agree with soapy water. My strawberries were covered in them. I sprayed them with warm soapy water(not too warm). A few days later they are all black and dead and I cant see any green ones anywhere.
