Help need with indentification

    Possibly Papaver (opium poppy) that will bloom late spring/early summer next year. :)

      Sorry Sheal,

      Wrong type of leaf for Papaver Somniferum ( Opium Poppy ). They have glaucus bue/green leaves. You may have been thinking of a Papaver Orientale ( Oriental Poppy ) but I don't think it is.

      I think it's an Echinops Ritro ( Globe Thistle ).

        Hmmm, maybe you're right Anthony, but that's what mine look like as young plants. Perhaps @Jacko1967 will be kind enough to prove the point for us with a picture, when it eventually blooms. :)
