I'm relying on my friends in GC to help me out. I have been answering a quiz and am really stuck on 3 questions. I've answered the other 97 and these 3 are driving me crazy. It is a botanical quiz and most of the answers are the names of plants found in domestic gardens, but it does incorporate other flora, not necessarily from these shores.

Q1. Does Gabriel come from Alaska? (9 letters)
    Q2. Found in Bergerac...or Barnaby? (7 letters)
Q3. Revive mumps (anag) (11 letters)

Please try to help before I do something desperate. Thankyou :eek:

Thanks for the suggestion Terrier - if only I had given you the right information you may have been able to help.
I gave wrong info on question 3. It is an anagram with 11 letters. Sorry

The answer to No. 2. is Nettles

John Nettles played the part of Jim Begerac and plays the part of Tom Barnaby in two TV series. :)

No time to think about the others as I have just popped in from gardening and have to get out there again.

Tweaky I've offered my services in the Pop Inn - I can assure you the laughs it would give would be better than the money.

Thanks for the suggestion lollipop73 but I don't hink it's right cos it would say the answer is (5. 4) - but please keep trying

Gabriel (archangel) New Archangel was formerly the capital of Russian Alaska now called Sitka. Possibly the connection could be Sitka Pine aka White Spruce which ties in with the number of letters (9).
