Can anyone help me by identifying these weeds. They sprung up a month or so ago in my borders which, due to an illness, I had neglected a bit. I removed them all by hoeing them. A week or two later they were back so I hoed them all off again. After a further week they have returned, even some within my lawn.

Can anyone tell me a) what they are and b) how do I get rid of them for good.

Many thanks weeds 1.jpg weeds 2.jpg weeds 3.jpg

Do they apprear to coming from the direction of a neighbours garden ?

Not sure what they are, possibly a Bramble ?

If its so agressive, then treat those young leaves with a Glyphosate weedkiller which should run back to the base of wherever the main root is.

It's ground elder. Glyphosate is the only thing that will kill off the roots and it might take 2 or 3 treatments.
