My wife has spoken to me several times over the last year or so about a rose that is special to her.

It was a rose she bought for her mum who has since passed away. It was called Rosa Dorothy and the wife's mum was called Dorothy which is why the rose was bought for her in the first place..
So I'm looking to find and purchase a rose for the garden for my wife. The Dorothy one would be spot on if I can find one !
Looking in the Net I see "Rosa Dorothy" but they seem to be climbers or large bush types.

The one I have in mind so its as close to the one my wife bought for her mum was a pot type size. Sorry I'm struggling here ! It had a large flower which was white with yellow.

    Any help greatly appreciated !

    Charlie.

Thank you Wise owl ! The one I'm looking for has white leaves with a yellow centre. I realise its like looking for a needle in the proverbial but even though this has been mentioned here at home a couple of times this last year its been going on for years ! Time to get my finger out then !

if you don't find that one, would you go for a rose call Dorothy or a rose with a different name that looks like the one you describe (yellow and white)?
