Help with a Rotavator please!!!!

    Hubby has got a rotavator that he had to put a new belt and cable on but had to wait for the parts to arrive and now he's forgotten where two springs go - they are the ones that engage the drive to the tines:lollol:. Can someone point him in the right direction as to where the springs go - please anyone - he's driving me mad!!!!

    Hi Kate. I don't know a thing about rotavators, bit it MIGHT be worth googling for the info you need. In the past I've wanted specific information and was able to find PDF's giving diagrams with exploded views. Gotta be worth a try.

    Could we see a pic of the two springs? It might help. Without knowing much about it, I do know that some clutch mechanisms using multiple springs, but without actually seeing it, it would be hard to say really.
