Help with fiddleleaf fig

    Hello all,

    I've had this fiddleleaf fig for about a month and I'm having a hard time knowing what is wrong with it.

    Take a look at the pictures:
    A lot of the leaves have turned brown on the tips.

    This is the top soil:

    You can see the moist 3" below surface.

    Is this a sign of overwatering? The pictures were taken today a week after watering. So it still has some moist. Should I water it more?

    Going by the similar effect I had with a cheese plant a few years back, I would say it looks like over watering. Maybe less water, but more frequently is the answer?
