    Hi,

My father-in-law has asked me for elp with this.
My mother-in-law was given a bunch of flowers by someone, and amongst the bunch was this flower.
The odd thing was that this was last year.
My father-in-law put the flower in the ground and left it until a fortnight ago, then planted it in this pot.
As you can see, it's got loadsa new growth on it and has survived some very cold weather.
Anyone got any idea what it is??

The leaves look a bit like an ornamental cabbage, that's gone all spiky and spindly. I've only ever seen them growing as neat clumps (don't grow them myself).

Yes, I'd agree Aaron. Looks like an ornamental cabbage that's gone to seed. Less of the orna, more of the mental!

Amazing that it rooted though and started growing again. Does look very odd however!
