Help with lillies

    I have found 2 what i thought was ladybirds on my lillies but no black spots, dam the thing bit me! What are they? and whats this gung they leave on the leaves?
    Its only on 2 off my lillies so far so ive moved them away from the others just incase its something bad.

    they are bad, lily beetles most probably. KILL KILL KILL KILL KILL!!!! Although, I didn't realise they would bite if disturbed, not heard that before??)

    I would say Lily Beetles as well, Glen. And like you, I didn`t know they bite.:eek:

    Yes they are lily beatles and the gunge are the baby's kill the bliters or they will desicate completely!!
