help with my grass

Hi all im just new to this forum so please be gentle. Well anyway my problem is my grass. it has not been down for long maybe 3 weeks i got turf layed you see. Ive been watering loads with the hosepipe and i have found loads of brown patches in it and im most upset as its not been down for long. can i use some feeder on it or is it too ealy or shall i put some grass seeds on top as the brown patches are makin it look very thin. Also i have not cut it yet but it has grown a fair bit but i was gonna wait till sept time to cut it. can anyone give me some advice, many thanks in advance x

 

hello you did lay the grass at the wrong time of year it will be struggling with the heat, when you water it make sure you get it all the brown patches will be bits you missed, best to feed in spring, if you do reseed make sure it is same grass and good luck it will need tons of water :D :D
