    Hi guys and gals,

New on here just found you and would like to get some advise if possible please.

I have planted some strawberries in good loom and their coming on brilliantly.

I am now thinking of planting some herbs the same way, in an upside down 500 litre compost bin, that i have drilled holes in and would like to plant the herbs all round coming out of the holes, making a lovely garden feature. My question is, not forgetting that i have got a 4" wide drainage pipe going down the centre of the tub with holes in for my watering system. How do i plant the 500 litre compost bin with to take these herbs and make sure they grow. i.e. just a bit confused about my loom, at the moment I have 200litres of John Innes compost to which ihave mixed 100litres of garden sand, any advise would be very much appreciated.

Hoping to get more involved in the group also now i have found you, love to talk about gardening.

Hoping to hear from anyone soon.
    Thanks. wheelbarrowman.
