These are my favourite hobbies. I try to grow as many herbs as i can and also read up on the uses for them.

Photography is my other hobby but im not very good haha (definately not a david bailey student).I just love taking pics.Think i get it from my mum as she clicks away like a mad woman :lollol:

Im gonna try and upload some pics onto here so you can see for yourselves:wink:

Sorry Walnut, have to disagree with this statement.

Hhowever with the advent of digital most professionals do take slightly more images than with film but the more images taken means more time sorting images and post production meaning more time in front of a pc/mac and less with a camera.

Most people on here are not professional photographers and still take some fab pictures you can take as many pics as you like pick out the best with no cost, I usually discard any obvious bad ones on the camera and don't need to spend ages in front of a pc sorting them.

    walnut,

i agree that most on here aren't professional photographers and taking lots to pick the best is adventagious with digital, i was just disagreeing with the bit about pp's taking lots and lots then deleting!

digital is great, as my 8year old takes lots of piccies on our cameras since hers broke and we sort them out, keep some and delete the rest, wouldn't have happened with film.

Pal, i always advocate if its worth photographing then photograph it, however showing a client over 1200 piccies is a no no, unless there are 1200 crackers.

my most was about 400-500 from a wedding, from 2 photographers images.

    I take hundreds of pics.
    Sometimes of the same thing.
It's surprising how they can differ.
Then just delete the ones that don't turn out well or I don't like the look of.
    I love this digital photography.
I never really bothered before with all the films and developing.
    But digital is so easy.
    And cheap.
I love it, it's a great hobby :thmb:
