I never seem to be able to grow them from seed. Does anyone know where I can buy pots of the more ornamental ones, like lemon sage, from? I've already got rosemary, mint and chives growing wild, so I'm really going for the 'fragrant garden' effect rather than cooking supplies!

    Hi Skiver

It depends on which part of the country you live in. There are lots of independent nurseries that specialise in herbs. Let me know what part you're in! [IMG]

    Hi Bayleaf,

I'm in Surrey, near Kingston upon Thames.

If you are going to Chelsea Flower Show, have a prowl round the marquees where there will be lots of herb nurseries, many do mail order, if not, let me know & I will keep an eye out as I am going (yippee! :D ) You could try Jekka McVicar (Jekka's Herb Farm) on the internet - she does fab & unusual herbs + I think she does mail order too (I think she's based over Bristol way - a bit far from you) You could also try the place at this link - if you check their index, there's quite a variety

    Hope this helps [IMG]

    Thanks, Bayleaf.

I'd clean forgotten about Jekka McVicar and Lingfield is not too far from me.

I'm not going to Chelsea [or Hampton Ct for that matter]. If you see anything interesting then please do let me know.
