Here in Algarve listening to Music ...

    Today is hubby's 65th so we have had a lazy day and then went out to a special music venue for dinner ... normally fantastic, today crap ... a Brit who in his teens/early 20s played a bit then got into construction and is now here aged 50 doing 'gigs' ... boy was this bad. We left early and came home and had drinks outside and watched the stars and listened to this ...



    ... and this ...



    We actually listened to all of the War of the Worlds and we had a brilliant sky tonight and I saw (hubby did not sadly) see the most fantastic shooting star.

        We've had our 'surrogate son' Vasco visiting us today from Uni and he introduced us to a newcomer ... English no less ...

          Been doing a lot of tidying up in the garden as we have brother-in-law and brother, his wife & eldest son (whom I have never met) arriving so have been listening to music as well on our outdoor system.

          I've been listening to Brad Paisley just love him ...



          ... and couldn't believe I found this duet with another of my favourites ... Alan Jackson ...

            Now sitting have a drink (rum and coke for me, bourbon for him) and listening to t'other's favourite, Charlie Daniels, the first musician he worked with on 21 March 1976 along with the Marshall Tucker Band.

              Watched the end of Blacklist last night and the final song was this that I love ..



              ... an ex-member told me about this group and I can't for life of me think of her name ... I will come up with it ... Claire I want to say ...

              Edit: Lollipop was her name but she hasn't been around for a few years.
