he's back

"My"woodpecker is back he has been absent for while then this am he returned not only him but his wife and 2 youngsters all on one feeder now i got the camera and telescope posed and hopfully i'll get some pics( by the way thats another hobby i just started digiscoping)

 

Matt interested to see the results of your digiscoping i'm interested in astronomy and some of the shots the guys obtain through their 10" scopes are quite amazing maybe mrs walnut will buy me a set up for christmas.

 

We have started to get a woodpecker on our feeders as well.
Not sure if it's male or female.
I'm sure someone on here will no.

hi lyn its a female great spotted the males have a redpatch on the head

 

mrs matt bought mine for me bless her took me into london camera exchange and got an opitcron imagic scope a zoom lens for the scope, a nikon coolpix camera, adapter to fix it to the scope and a spare memory card for the camera plus a few other bits and pieces and haggled the price down to well under £500 quid think i'll take her shopping next time i need somthing
