A couple of my Heucheras are rising up out of the beds. Do I need to do anything? or is it the wrong time of year? tia

That's quite common with Heucheras at this time of year as winter approaches. I would add a thick mulch around the base to protect the roots now and then replant in spring with the crown level with the soil. If you have well draining soil and it's still mild where you are and no threat of frost, you could chance replanting now.

I'd just dig them up and replant deeper. Unless the ground's frozen solid for the next few days [unlikely] you can just shove them back in, and you really wouldn't have to worry about watering them either unless you're having mild, sunny weather, and the soil's very light and therefore drying out.
I've often moved plants of all types at this time of year and it's not a problem at all unless there's something wrong/unsuitable with the conditions, or it's a new plant which isn't accustomed to those conditions. Heucheras are very tough and will take all sorts of abuse.

Thank you @Plantminded and @fairygirl, It is still quite mild here so I will replant deeper as suggested. :)

They will be fine in this mild spell. Most of mine are flowering like there's no tomorrow here! :)
