      Welcome to GC Metalingus :dbgrtmb:...Leather jackets certainly make short work of a lawn once they get hold of it don't they.I'm sure I heard or read somewhere that if you water the soil then cover with black plastic overnight,the leather jackets come to the surface.In the morning remove the plastic and the birds will scoff them:dbgrtmb:...I had a bad infestation of them a few years back and blamed it on the disappearance of Starlings they were always seeking them out.Thankfully the Starlings are slowly returning and I really believe they keep the numbers down:blue thumb:
