Hi to all,
Best introduce myself.
Not new to gardening but due to two strokes in 2015 left me disabled on the left side (with one hand operation) I suffer from Asphasia (comunication,problems speech etc classed as learning difficulties) but with hard work I battle on as you do.
Enough of illness milarkly memories coming back on my gardening exploits and tbh not good, I think I could kill plastic nettles lol.
Slow steps and research is what I love befor I try things.
I found the best way to put my progress in any hobby etc was to put them in my YouTube channel.
Basic veg growing (from plants, and just managed to get some seeds to germinate) couple of flowers and herbs all in planters (DIY made) two day old worm farm and just
Today made a DIY germination grow light stand.
I hope you all can follow me? Any more trying its might become gobblygook.

Welcome to Gardeners Corner Brian. Despite your health issues it seems it's not holding you back working the garden.

Now then.....Manxnorton? My family are all bikers and I moved here to the Highlands from the Isle of Man 3 1/2 years ago, I lived there 24 years. My brother until recently re-built classic bikes including a Norton but it wasn't Manx.

Trust me I'm a ****** and I have my plentiful assortment of ails and medical/physical problems. You will soon discover that many of us are a similar state. Gardening is a wonderful prfession, hobby and theraputic help to us all. So my friend. Take your time and ask away. I for one look forward to answering your posts.

Tbh had to get out of the way of my situation (illness side of things, paint a picture so to speak)
Then move on!
As you can imagine being locked down for anyone is tough and same time learning more about yourself and what you can do with your free time.
Had plenty of hobbies to occupy my time apart from house work :-(
But with all of them I put 101% into it...ok takes me longer and my brains isn’t as fast is used to be
I’ve always had a motorbike or two.
Early 2000’s I was the passenger on a classic sidecar outfit. Loved it...633cc Derek Rumble BSA.
Our aim was always TT..but unfortunately work commitments put paid to that. When I moved jobs my job was classic motorcycle restoring and selling them. Couldn’t part with my stash but 7 bikes when I was hospitalised had to part with them.
Same time was in a great chapter up at Scotland great bunch, keep in touch still.
My mediocre garden consists of mainly planter style a DIY potting table and two worm bins.
I’ll get pics up soon on my blog thingy.
