    hi all,

We're new to the site as well as the gardening world.

I'm Tim 33 yrs old and Jo is 28 and we have a 15 month old toddler, we live in the North east by the coast.

We have a laege garden, that we are planning on growing some veg in, in raised borders, we have a large lawn (for our Daughter) that we are trying to save ! and some areas for plants and shrubs.

We are both complete novices, but are enjoying sorting out the mammoth task ahead of us and experimenting with growing our own.

    Tim and Jo

Hi there Tim and Jo and welcome to GC!

I actually know nothing about vegetables (although I eat them but not grow them) but there's lots of folk here who can assist you young folk.

Enjoy the site and just ask away ... someone will answer you.

Hi Tim and Jo, welcome, how exciting your first garden, what pleasure you will have - my advice is - get that toddler of yours a tiny set of gardening tools, I talk from experience, over the years my children and grandchildren have kept pinching mine, grrrrrrrrrrr - slowed me down no end !

Hi Tim and Jo, How lovely you both like doing the garden together. I wish my husband enjoyed my allotment as much as I do. I too do not know much yet but as time goes by I am learning from everyone around me.

Hi timandjo, welcome to GC. [IMG] You'll get lots of help and advice on here. Before asking any questions just check down the titles of the topics to see whether you are putting your question in the right place. That way you will get an answer quicker.

    Good luck with your garden.
