Hi all, New here.. Keen gardener since getting our first house 5 years ago. Moved last year and started landscaping January ready to get the lawn and borders ready for this spring! Below are a few pictures of the garden when we moved in last year...
Here's a few pics and teasers as to the work in progress along the way... 10 tonnes of clay removed and 30 tonnes of top soil added to level the garden. New fence, sleepers installed ready for new patio.
Here's where we are at now... Ground all seeded and grass now coming through. Shed to build and patio to finish off. Just got to paint fences and decide on some more mature plants to add. Will keep you all updated if you want to follow progress.
This weekends jobs - - Finish Patio area and add chippings round edge. - Clean all old dirt off sleepers. - Paint remaining fence panels. - Add border lights to add effect. - Decide on what plants to add to borders.
Thanks for all the comments. We are getting there slowly. Another full day yesterday re-laying the side alley round the house and painting fences. Good news! The grass is starting to appear now too. :-)
Good progress and you left the Damp coarse un bridged often a mistake. Show us some more as you progress. Warm welcome.
Does anyone have any suggestions for some very drawf small trees to go down the left hand side. Will be planted in full sun.
hello and welcome :-) what about a prunus kojo no mai or do you mean like really small dwarf conifer type things?
