    Really glad to see this site as I know gardeners of all types loves to share their ideas and experiences. I live in Woking in Surrey and will be very glad to get or share advice and experiences to other members.

    I love trying out new things, but buying form garden centres is so expensive so will love to hear from others on how they keep costs down.

    You are pretty close to me - I am just the other side of Chertsey from you, so I'd imagine we will share climate/weather and probably even soil types.

    All of the members here are fantastic (yes, I am biased, but they really are the best there is!), and I am sure you will get loads of ideas, advice and hopefully a few giggles along the way. I look forward to seeing you around the forums. :)

      I know Woking in Surrey very well , not far from Wisley and lots of expensive garden centers :snork: I agree, but you do have a bigger choice of varieties to choose from.

          Welcome to GC Patrick. Hope you enjoy the site - it really is very friendly. How to keep costs down? Grow from seed, take cuttings, arrange swaps with people who've got what you want and hopefully you've got what they want. You'll find advice on all of that on here

            As you've probably seen, we have gardeners here from the outright beginners to the long experienced, the specialists, the allotment holders, those who garden from balconies, yards, small gardens and those with acres of land and they all exchange information, give advice and help, along with the joke or two..........so you'll like it here!!
