hi, i'm new here and just finding my way around, i'm a retired lady from the midlands, uk and chose my user name as i've always loved these delicate pretty wild flowers, remembering them in meadows and woodlands as a child. i love cottage garden plants and gardens with a mish mash of old fashioned flowers such as my own, wallflowers, lupins, forget me nots, cowslips, old roses especially albertine, honeysuckles,lilacs,etc.etc. my daughter and i are on the waiting list for an allotment where we want to grow veg, herbs, fruit and cut flowers such as sweet peas, dahlias etc. so any tips on allotment growing and rules would be much appreciated, any allotment tales too would be fun.
looking forward to enjoying this site, happy gardening,
    lady smock :)
