Hi my name is Ash, im 42 and i live in north wales. I'm disabled and use a wheelchair. I have limited movement which is hard with certain things because im unable to do what others can. I always want to learn things so that i know how things are done or i can know about something. Because of my head injury it's difficult to grasp and understand things but once i understand it feels good.

I volunteer at a garden centre which i enjoy, i like being around the plants dead heading, cutting back and pricing. I want to be able to tell customers some information about certain plants, my line manager told me to take information from the bed cards, when they flower, what soil a plant likes and whether it likes to grow in light or shade. The information is different say on the coast or near a mountain. For example i've got here, Erysimum, Apricot Delight, it says, A perennial wallflower. Masses of apricot - orange flowers for months. March - July. Good for bees, butterflies. Semi evergreen. Sun. Well drained soil - good in drought. What simple basic information could i take from that please?

      Welcome .
To describe the wallflower I go with - full sun / well drained soil / good for wildlife / long flowering or flowers up to mid summer . I don't think you need to describe the colour its clear to see.

Hi Ash, welcome to Gardeners Corner and congratulations on becoming a member of the GC:love30::thumbsup: Gang. You'll find everyone is very friendly, with a good sense of humour and willing to pass on advice and the benefit of their experience, successes and mistakes.
