    Hi,

Well as the subject title states i`m from cold North Yorkshire. In the process of sorting the gardens out as moved in with boyfriend and he says they are now mine...
Building a raised bed to grow lots of organic veg just got to decide what to grow and where. Excited but also a little nervous. Hope to make new like-minded friends on here and gain valuable advice. Nikki x

Hi Nikki and welcome, people think that if they don`t use chemicals on their gardens, then they are growing organically. Wrong. If somebody within a half mile of you sprays their plants with chemicals then you are not gardening organically. This is because of something called spindrift. Whereby droplets of the chemical spray are carried on any breeze, no matter how slight.

Hi Littlenikki and welcome to the GC forum. I hope it's warmer up Yorkshire today than it is here in North Wales, the snow looks nice but it's decidedly chilly.

Hi Nikk welcome to our friendly forum.

It seems you have begun two exciting adventures at the same time moving in with your b/f and having a new garden to do.

I wish you well with both and remember the way to a man's heart is through his stomache! :D

Hi Nikki. What do you mean cold N. Yorks. We get tropical weather in Scarborough (that's why I grow exotics). Welcome to GC, :D
