    Morning all,

I know absolutely nothing about gardening, but have just moved to a house with a nice big garden with two areas of lawn and lots of shrubs and trees in the borders, so I am going to need to learn quite fast! My first newbie question is in the "Lawns" forum now, so if anyone can help me out I'd be very grateful.

I look forward to browsing the huge amount of knowledge obviously available here. Thanks for the resource!

I moved to Methwold with my parents in August 1964. Mum passed away in 1987 and Dad still lives in the same bungalow and I now live near Downham Market.
