Hi, I'm new to gardening and after living in our house for over 3 years we are finally getting round to sorting out our very long garden!
I've planted a few seeds and bulbs the other week so waiting to see if they grow.

Can't wait to get inspiration and guidance from this place

Long gardens can be great fun because you can divide them up into zones ;)

Have a good think about what you would like in your garden and what you want to use the space for.
I'm guessing your garden already has some plants in it? Take stock of what is already there (you should have a good idea as you've lived there 3yrs) and of that what you would like to keep and what you would like to replace.

We're a friendly bunch so dive in with any questions you may have

                      Thank you all

M, well it is in sections. We have a couple of acers, an apple tree and some other tree's that were here already. Apparently it was a beautiful garden years ago but it was left to overgrow and council destroyed a lot of the stuff.
We have a few ideas for a seating area half way up, the dogs have a bit fenced off at the start and the bit beyond the little dog fence is for our 3.5 year old daughter. At the end of the garden we want a shed and to grow vegetables. But it's all weeds up there, when we !moved in it was all dumped rubbish up there. It was daunting! I will have to find pics of it.
