    Hi everybody.

I`ve just bought a new house with a large yard that I`m hoping to turn into a garden but I don`t have much gardening experience and most plants that are unfortunate enough to be bought by me tend to die, I`m hoping to be able to change this with a little bit of help perhaps. The first thing I`ve started to do is to pull up the flags and put down a lawn, but I haven`t bought the turf yet as there are a few questions I`d like to ask first.

Thanks for reading feel free to ask me anything you like (within reason) haha
    All the best, Tony.

This is a good time of year to start such work, finish getting up your flags, get it nice and flat and lay your turf, it should root well through the late autumn, just don`t walk on it.
Then through the damp and dreary winter you can plan what you want and where ready to spring into action in Spring. :heehee:
Measure your perimeter so you have size and also work out north, south, east west. So you know which are likely to be sunny/shady bits.
