    Hi All,

New guy here who is an inexperienced gardener - previously I found something I liked, stuck it in the ground and crossed my fingers that it would work so obviously I have made lots of mistakes along the way.

I have a small garden at the corner end of a cul-de-sac which has the bonus of a second house hidden in little pieces in the garden.... all you have to do is dig it up.

My garden is mostly evergreens, perennials and climbers and I have a hatred for ivy and conifers and will admit to enjoying squishing greenfly - is this normal or perverted ?

I apologise up front as most of my posts will be asking for advice - most of which will be very basic knowledge for you experienced gardeners
