Ok so this is a baptism of fire anyone know how to look after a pomegranate bush, an olive tree and a kumquate (if thats how you spell it).

I have no idea, i train dog's and have been busy killing most plants in my garden for 18 months now, even have an intensive care unit on the patio [IMG]

After much money spent I finally have a wisteria, budleja and australian bottle brush that have survived all my efforts plus 3 clematis.

Oh i forgot to mention I also managed to kill some bamboo!

Desperately in need of advice. Go on i'l be your best friend [IMG]

    Ta very much [IMG]

Hi, there, accidentalgardener, and welcome to GC.

I could tell you about the first three you mention but unfortunately it would not benefit you because of our climate differences!

I know several folk here have one or more of these trees, native to my adopted country, so hopefully they will come along and advice you.

I'm actually managing to keep my Bamboo alive in full sun!

    Good luck and enjoy!

Hi Accidentalgardener, and a warm welcome to GC from me.
I have a bottle brush tree witch i have had for a few years now, but unfortunatly it got damaged in the storms in January. but it has started to get side shoots so i still live in hope.
Wisteria I have just got 1 myself this year and all i can tell you is that they flower on old wood, meaning this years groth is next years flowers.
Clematis depending on witch you have, some need pruning and some dont.

    Hi Accidentalgardner, welcome to GC.

If it's any consolation after buying several clematis and successfully killing every one over the years, I have given up, so on that front you are doing better than me!
