    Thankyou Freddy it really was and on the Sunday were on Dumglow and Lochglow and the views were stunning .
    Had a great day untill coming home and hot a large pot hole and was stranded for 2and half hrs

    Very nice that:) I used to do a bit of Fell walking, always enjoyed it. A sense of adventure and getting away from it all, lovely:)

    Nice:)
    Unfortunately, I now find it difficult to do any hillwalking. It's not the going up, but the coming down that's the problem. Some years ago, I was coming down from the 'Horseshoe' near Ambleside, the last section being Rydall Mount, and my knees were really taking a pounding, it was SO steep. Since then, my knees aint been right:frown:

    Yes can be painful coming down .

    Been there with asore knee 2009 in Canada on the hilsl .

    But 3yrs later I a now able to go back on the hills Freddy.

    And we had a fantastic walk to day on the Lomand Hills
