Hi, I am hoping someone might be able to advise me on the best place to hire a rotivator and a turf lifter for a weekend/3 days. I have looked on the HSS hire website but they are pretty expensive, has anyone used another hire company that is better value please?

HSS is the only one I've had experience of - but, prob is, trying to match the anticipated weather with the date you hire the rotavator for!! ;)

I would expect to pay Ã?£75 or more for each for a weekend. Get prices from some other local hire shops, these machines are well worth it if you have a large area to work, otherwise consider hiring labour. [IMG]

We have a hire place quite close to us in Warrington that is about 1/3 of the price of HSS - it's tucked away on a little industrial estate, and if you didn't know it was there, you'd probably drive past it! The stuff is not fancy to look at but does the job just as well as the HSS stuff for considerably less money! It's always worth checking out local shops.. :D
