    Hi all.

I was going to start my hispi cabbage off this week. I was planning on putting the seed tray in a plastic bag and leaving it on the window sill in my conservatory. The conservatory is quite cold but,has a small radiator in although it doesnt throw out a lot of heat. With the current cold snap that is predicted for this week and next is it worth holding off would they be ok?

    Cheers
    Rusty

I would wait until the cold snap is over.

You don't want to give Brassicas any extra heat that you don't need to, IMHO.

But you don't want the seed to rot either of course ...

So somewhere in-between the two is spot-on. Perhaps wait until your guess that the cold is over? then go-for-it :)
