Hogweed Type Identification

    Hello

    Having looked on Internet I'm unsure if hogweed type or one that looks like one & wether to keep or bin as can cause severe irritation.

      If you were going to be very ill you’d know about it by now.

      There may well be a lot of it about … but it’s best not growing in most folks’ gardens.

      Im a country girl .., Ive grown up knowing what it is and how to treat it with respect. I wouldn’t have if in my garden. Families may not recognise and know about it … children have been known to make peashooters with the hollow stems, or pick it for their pet rabbits .., with sad results.

      Just a small amount of the sap or seeds can be deadly … it doesn’t just cause an upset tummy. If people don’t want Giant Hogweed in their garden why would they accept Hemlock?
