There are so many. Could you narrow it down by preferences?

      Burrowhayes Farm,West Luccombe,Porlock,Minehead Somerset...01643 - 862463

They have Static caravans to hire but they don't have wooden camping pods or tents to hire (take your own). You would need to book up pretty quickly for this year once the site opens for this year and there is also a riding stables on site for any would be pony Trekkers but there isn't as far as I know a lot of amusements for kiddywinkles apart from lots of walking that is...

Good feedback from Scrungee Miraflores and yes dogs are accepted at Burrowhayes but you are not allowed to go off and leave them in the static sand there is also the Minehead to Bishops Lydearde (sp) steam train journey one of the longest railway lines and they also allow dogs on the trains.I think we paid 50p when we had our dog.

Dunster is also a nice place to visit with a few shops plus there is Dunster Castle to visit.Lots of beaches to walk along but not sur if you have to wait until later on in the year before dogs are allowed on the beaches.

The owners of this site are very nice people and I am sure you will have a really nice holiday and if you want lots of walking from the site without the use of the car then there is the opportunity from the site also.

        I will try...
possibly if there were animals, horses on site or not too far, a river/ sea with stones to climb over (not for me but for my daughters the goats) or sand...
PS if one was to take a dog along do they tend to accept dogs or not? (but I don't even know if taking a dog along would be a good idea)

        Hi Mira :-)
Loads at good prices around Perth and Kinross, with or without hot tubs, along with there is availability of a Chef for that special treat night
He discusses what you would like for your evening meal, His wife and he collect it and prepare it at your log cabin, then take all the used plates and pans away

Apart from playing in the river and led pony rides, somewhere where you're actually allowed to take you child out for about 30 minutes sitting on their own pony with just you taking them through the woods and along the lanes, a great experience for youngsters, been going there for many years (on site wifi now available).

There's also day visits to Butlins Minehead (usually a money off voucher in some local publication).l
