I've been struggling to find a couple of unusual hollies that I had my heart set on. I went to the local garden centre today, and although they didn't have the variety I was looking for, they had a very similar, yellow-berried variety for a very fair price. I had to have it! So, there's now just one remaining that I want to get my hands on, but I will wait for summer and hope it becomes available. My holly collection now consists of:

Silver Hedgehog (ferox argentea) - M
    Argentea Marginata - F
    Pyramidalis - Self Fertile
    Fructu Luteo - F
Common Holly x 2 (probably one M, one F, grown from cuttings)

Most are young, but I am hopeful of berries in years to come from this combination. In the meantime, I love the different shapes and colours of the leaves, all year round.
I would still like a male Elegantissima, which I haven't yet been able to source, and I dare say I might be tempted by some other variety I have yet to stumble across and fall in love with!
