Have just made similar recipe, but with brandy, no glycerine, but a bar of chocolate melted. oh wow, recipe suggests leaving it in fridge for month. We will be using it only after a week. But oh wow, it was lovely (what i couldn't get in the bottle) and i shake it daily. it smells devine. Going to enjoy it this weekend, sons 21st, family visiting and week over due bonfire party.

[IMG] Well.....,bought ingredients yesterday, incuding what i thought was Glycerine.Just about to add to mixture when i noticed exclamation mark on side of bottle(pause). On further inspection;Glycerin, soothes sore throats and chapped skin.Sooo thought better not.Nearest bar of chocolate was a Praline Flake.Melted that.Carried on.No tea cups in my abode so had to guess at amount of whisky.Finished recipe.Only one bottle but loads of empty Oxo jars(waste not want not)Later...,young fiz came in searching fridge for food."what`s this mam?"holding bottle of bailys, minus cork."it won`t come out" Something to do with hazlenuts in bar of Praline Flake??? :D
